Roy served in action overseas with the Royal Canadian Signals Corps. He received the star of service for 1939-1945, The Italy Star and the France and Germany Star. Roy was born in North Elmsley Twp in 1909, after his service he worked for Ontarion Hydro and Perth Public Utilities, (PPU).
