Davis, Kenneth Wilfred

Service # 042759 - Gunner Kenneth W. Davis of Perth Ontario was the son of Marion and Henry Davis. He received training in Peterborough for combat before deployment overseas. On December 25, 1944, in Holland Ken volunteered to pick up a movie for the troops to watch. An accident occurred when Ken's motorcycle collided with an armored truck. He died 2 days later on December 27th from extensive injuries. Ken was buried December 28th on his 25th birthday at Bergen Op Zoom Cemetary in Holland.
