John Edward Publow was born in 1919 and enlisted with his brothers Bill and Joe Publow in 1943 and returned in 1945. He was know to his family and friends as Jack. Jack was employed by the town of Perth and tragically killed when a portion of a 15-foot wall collapsed at the Lanark County Jail on November 10, 1947.
