Pope, John Stanley

John Stanley Pope (Jack), was born Sept 11, 1919, in Perth Ontario. He joined the RAF January 30, 1941 and served overseas in the Coastal Command based in England, as a Wireless Air Gunner (WAG), In June 1944 he was promoted to Pilot Officer and flew his last flight in March 1945. He returned to Perth and worked for Canada Manpower and Married Verna Paul in August 1947 and had 2 daughters.. He passed January 1978.
