DiCola, Francis Elwood

Service # R254729 - Francis enlisted on June 7, 1943 and was honorably released on July 12, 1946. He was a radio operator stationed at Pembroke docks in Wales. As a member of a flight crew aboard a Sunderland flying boat, he was employed as the radio operator on search and destroy missions looking for enemy submarines. He was also on the same aircraft for rescue operations.
