Bunbury, Arthur Corbet

Arthur joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1942 on his 18th birthday. He participated in the battle of the Atlantic from 1943-1945. He sailed aboard the H. C.M.S. Camrose, a corvette escorting convoys in the north Atlantic for most of that time. He was also part of the D-Day operations in the English channel as the vessel he was on brought supplies to build the Mulberry Harbors at Arromanches in Normandy.
